LIBR 522K: Children’s Literature in a New Literacy Perspective (1). Taught by Helene Høyrup. Saturday February 23 [1:00-5:00 and 6:00-9:00] in IBLC 191 and Friday March 15 [9:00-12:00/1:00-5:00] in SCARF 201. [NOTE: the Friday March 15 class conflicts with LIBR 553 — students cannot take both courses]

LIBR 522M: Children’s Literature, Canon Formation, and Canonicity (1). Taught by Helene Høyrup. Saturday March 9 [9:00-12:00/1:00-5:00] and March 23 [9:00-12:00/1:00-5:00] in IBLC 191.

LIBR 579B: Community-Led Libraries (1). Taught by Annette DeFaveri and Beth Davies.
Saturday, February 9 [9:00-12:00/1:00-5:00] and Saturday, March 2 [9:00-12:00/1:00-5:00]

An additional 1-credit LIBR course may be added later.

NOTE: All courses must meet minimum class size requirements [eight students for ARST courses and 10 students for LIBR courses]. If minimum size is not met the course may be cancelled. As well, all courses are subject to instructor availability and budgetary restrictions. Changes in instructor availability may require modifying the day/time in which a course if offered or the course might have to be cancelled.
