Technology in the Core Workshops for Winter 2020

We are all set and ready to start with the Information Technology Literacy Workshops this term. These workshops are part of the “Technology in the Core” program, along with the online modules and the information technology literacy test that several of you have already checked out.

We are offering four technology workshops this winter. They are offered in two cycles, in case you cannot make it for one of the workshops in one cycle. Attendance to the workshops is voluntary, but highly encouraged (detailed schedule below). All workshops are scheduled on selected Thursdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Terrace Lab at the iSchool.

These interactive and hands-on workshops are led by iSchool facilitators to ensure that you acquire the minimum required IT skills and knowledge for your graduate program. No pre-requisites or previous preparation, just drop by, and come ready to learn. The workshops are facilitated by Winnie Li and Limor Tamim.

If you are taking both workshops on web design (HTML and CSS), then we recommend you to take the HTML and CSS workshop in sequence since CSS builds up on HTML.

To register to one, two, or all of these workshops, just complete this Doodle Poll. Please select the date(s) of the workshop(s) you are attending, write your name, and save your options. Please sign up to only workshops you will be attending, since there is a limit of maximum 30 students per workshop
