iSchool student and professor collaborate on interactive maps and linked data project

Carolina Román Amigo, an iSchool student, and iSchool professor Richard Arias-Hernandez collaborated with UBC Library in a project focusing on linked open data to enhance UBC’s extensive Open Collections platform. Working with Paul Joseph, Systems Librarian at UBC Library, and Arias-Hernandez, Amigo made it easier for researchers to understand the thousands of scanned digital photos, maps and rare texts found in Open Collections.
