Graduate Blockchain Training Pathway

Blockchain@UBC is Canada’s first -Blockchain and Decentralized Trust Technologies -training pathway for graduate students. The training path is multidisciplinary and is supported by industry partners from a wide range of sectors. The Graduate Pathway will be a 12-credit non-degree training program that augments existing Master’s and PhD programs at UBC.

The initiative will provide a capacity for Master’s and PhD students who are interested in this area and desire to contribute in scaling Canada’s Blockchain industry while also engaging in some of the world’s most complex socio-technical issues.

The Blockchain and Decentralized Trust Technologies graduate training pathway is open to graduate students from participating units across UBC, including MAS, MLIS, Dual and PhD students at the School of Information.

Students should express their interest in pursuing this pathway to their academic supervisor. To be considered for participation in the pathway, students are encouraged to apply before September of the year in which they would like to be admitted. Later applications will be considered on a case by case basis
